Module Two
I have completed module two today. I had never created a blog before so I am just starting to understand how it actually works. I think that it could be very beneficial in the classroom as students could journal their learnings, it would also be used to provide constructive feedback from the teacher to the students and students can provide feedback to each other. Today I have created a blog for module one and I added a graphic as well.

Great blog Leanne.
ReplyDeleteInformation for Module Four.
ReplyDeleteAt this stage I cannot find a way to embed our Flickr pictures on our pages. Instead you will either need to just add a link to your Flickr page or upload the image.
There are two other photo sites you might be interested in:
http://bighugelabs.com/
This is the site I meant when I was telling you that you could make jigsaw puzzles with your pics. A lot of fun.
http://www.pictureaustralia.org/
A great site with public domain pictures of Australia which you could use with your class! It also links in with Flickr. I will play around with that and show you how next week.
Enjoy playing with these sites!
Hi Guys,
ReplyDeleteI have worked out how to embed you tube clips into MyClasses.
Go to Properties>Create a Property
Select DIY then click NEXT
Give your property a title and description
click NEXT
A box will appear with lots of icos to choose from (looks a little like word)
Selct HTML (next to paintbrush icon-middle row)
A new window opens
Paste your embed code into this window
Then selct update
You can then type instructions or information below and/or above your clip. (Note your clip won't be playing here it will be a red box with a little f in the middle-this is ok!).
Once you've finished select save
Then put your property in the appropriate class!
AND YOU"RE DONE
This is a nifty little tool!
Have fun creating :-)
